Almost on the way
We moved to Dural Caravan Park on Sun 15-Jan. The final clean-up at Cherrybrook finished just 15 minutes before the key was handed over on Mon 16-Jan. We stayed a week at Dural and then went to Scott & Belinda’s to house-sit whilst they visited Longreach.
Maverick and Neo loved the company (and their food).
They also liked to check out the kitchen activity from their chairs. This is Neo.
Alesha Rose was born to Glenn and Kate on Tues 24-Jan – a beautiful little girl, 8lb ½oz, 50cm (19¾") and very healthy. Kate is recovering very well. Glenn is catching up on sleep and both are enjoying settling into parenthood and the delights of establishing routines. We were delighted to be able to meet Alesha before we head off.
We moved the van to Buff Point Mon 30-Jan night & entertained the neighbours with a little late-night backing and filling in the driveway as we wrestled the van into position in the dark. Rhonda stayed at Buff Point while Spencer commuted from his Mother's unit at Turramurra from Tues to Friday.
Spencer’s last day of work in 2006 (he just loves saying that!!) was Fri 3-Feb and we have now relocated to Buff Point. Troy has been offered a job at Castle Hill and starts on Mon 6-Feb. He needs to be on-site and ready to work at 5:50am in Castle Hill (an early start by any measure!). In a few weeks, we’ll point the van towards our first planned stop – 4 days or so at Bonny Hills.
More info and pix soon.
